The 69th British Academy Film Awards 2016 held on 14th February 2016 in London. It has held at the Royal Opera House in Central London. This award is presented by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), accolades are handed out for the best in feature-length film and documentaries of any nationality, that were screened at British cinemas during 2015.

BAFTA was founded in 1947 as The British Film Academy later became The British Academy of Film and Television Arts in 1976.

The Revenant got the best film, best actor, best director, best cinematography and best sound awards at the 69th edition of the biggest film awards.
