Haryana Panchayati Raj (Amendment) Bill 2015 passed

  • On 07th September 2015 Haryana became 2nd State in India after Rajasthan to fix the minimum educational qualification for election to Panchayati Raj Institutions. Minimum qualification for general candidates is 10th and for SC candidates 8th. For women belonging to SC category the qualification is 5th.
