- Alexis Tsipras led left-wing Syriza Party won General Elections of Greece on 21st September 2015. Earlier in August 2015, the party lost its majority in the Parliament. The election held under caretaker govt. led by 1st female Prime Minister of Greece Vassiliki Thanou.

It is important to noting that it is 1st meeting between the countries at Brigadier level from last 20 days. Brigadier H.S. Sareen from India and Brigadier Osman from Pakistan attended the ceremony.
