PM Modi's Visit to Varanasi

Varanasi visit of Modi
  • Today,  Prime Minister Narendar Modi will visit Varanasi. It is expected that PM can announce road and power projects including a ring road that is expected to ease the congestion in the city, and will also inaugurate a trauma center at the Banaras Hindu University. The programs were postponed due to weather reasons.

  • Ghulam Nabi Azad urges the Kashmiris to maintain restraint over the beef ban issue. He also appealed to maintain the silence.

  • Bollywood Actor Khiladi Akshay Kumar came forward to help poor farmers of Maharashtra. The Actor announced a package of Rs. 90,00,000 to help about 200 families. Before Akshay, Nana Patekar also donated money to poor farmers. This initiatives was taken to control the suicides of farmers due to financial conditions of farmers.
