  • On 17th June 2015, Japan lowered the age of voters from 20 to 18. The Bill passed in the Parliament of Japan as announced on 17th June 2015. In the year 1945, Japan lowered the age of voters from 25 to 20 years.

Number of days increased from 100 to 150 days in drought hit areas

  • On 17th June 2015, Government of India decided to increase the number of days who working under the scheme MGNREGA in drought hit areas from 100 to 150 days. Earlier in the year 2009, the scheme was launched with 100 days working guarantee.

‘Housing for All by 2022 Mission’ approved
