Eastern Railway Jobs 2020 – Eastern Railway Recruitment 2020 for both fresher and experienced Indian citizens, who have passed minimum 8th standard, 10th (Matric), 12th class (Senior Secondary) and degree qualifications. The Eastern Railway (ER) is one of the 17 Zones of Indian Railways. The ER, Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Kolkata has published recruitment notification for engagement of Act Apprentices for the year 2019-20 under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, as amended from time to time, in Workshops and Divisions of Eastern Railway. The last date for online registration of Eastern Railway Apprentice 2020 is 5th April 2020.

Unit-wise Vacancies: Howrah Division - 659, Sealdah Division - 526, Malda Division - 101, Asansol Division - 412, Kanchrapara Workshop - 206, Liluah Workshop - 204, Jamalpur Workshop - 684.
Age Limit: Minimum 15 years and maximum 24 years. The upper age relaxation - 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC - NCL and 10 years for PWBD category candidates.
Educational Qualification:
(1) The candidate must have passed 10th class (Matriculation) examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and also should possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
(2) For Welder (Gas and Electric) / Sheet Metal Worker / Lineman / Wireman / Carpenter / Painter (General) trades - Minimum educational qualification is 8th class pass from recognized School and the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
Selection Process: Selection will be on the basis of merit (10th class or 8th std marks and ITI Marks).
Application Fee: A non refundable fee of ₹ 100/- only. No fee for SC, ST, PWBD and all women candidates. The payment of fees will have to be made online through ‘Payment Gateway’ while filling up the online Application Form. The fee can be made by using Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking etc.
