Answer-.A.Rs 12000, Rs 8000 A:B(Income)=3:2 *2=6:4 A:B(Expenditure)=5:3 (Multiply the Income by 2 because income will always be greater than Expenditure which will make it 6:4) Now, Saving = Income-Expenditure 1 parts=2000 6 parts=12000 4 parts= 8000 Income(A,B)=Rs 12000,Rs 8000
Qn2. The students in three classes are in the ratio of 3:4:5. if 20 students are increased in each class then ratio become 5:6:7. what are the total number of students in three classes before increment? A.100 B.140 C.120 D.160
Answer-C.120 here difference between the ratio are 5-3=6-4=7-5=2 so 2 parts = 20 therefore (3+4+5)=12 parts =20/2*12=120

Answer-B.310,186,134 Ratio of values are 5:3:1 Ratio of number of coins will be 5*100/100:3*100/50:1*100/25=5:6:4 Total ratio= 15 parts So No of 1rs coins are=930/15*5=310 No of 50 paise coins will be= 930/15*6=372 No of 25 paise coins will be= 930/15*4=248
Qn4. The employer decreases the number of employees in the ratio 6:5 and increases the wages in the ratio 8:9. what is the ratio of two Expenditure? A.16:15 B.14:15 C.17:19 D.11:10
Answer-A.16:15 Expenditure of employes will be = no. of employees*wages so ratio of expenditure will be 8*6:5*9=16:15
Qn5. Find 62.5% of 960? A.620 B.605 C.600 D.610
Answer-C.600 We know 12.5%= 1/8 12.5*5%=62.5%=5*1/8 therefore, 5/8*960=600
Qn6.The speed of three cars are in the ratio 3:4:5. whats is the ratio of their time taken for same distance? A.20:15:12 B.18:14:13 C.19:11:15 D.16:14:13
Answer-A.20:15:12 Speed and time taken are inversely proportional to each other So ratio of time taken will be, 1/3:1/4:1/5=60/3:60/4:60/5=20:15:12

Answer-C.770 We know, 16.66%= 1/6 16.66%*7=116.66%=7*1/6 therefore 7/6*660=770
Qn8. A number is 50% more than the other.Then by how much % is the 1st less than the 2nd?? A.33.33% B.25.9% C.3216% D.31.45%
Answer-A.33.33% Let first number 100% other number will be 150% because 2nd is 50% more than that of first. so, 1st no. is 50%/150%*100=33.33% less than 2nd.
