  • Viren Dangwal, the famous Hindi Poet, died on 27th September 2015. He awarded with Sahitya Academy Award in the year 2004 and also awarded with Shrikant Verma Puraskar etc.

India signed an agreement with Asian Development Bank (ADB)

  • India signed an agreement with Asian Development Bank (ADB) for $123.51 mn for the purpose of tourism infrastructure development for 3 States i.e. Punjab, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Headquarter and President of ADB is Manila, Phillipines and Takehiko Nakao respectively.

‘Astrosat’ successfully launched by ISRO

  • 1st dedicated satellite for astronomy research ‘Astrosat’ successfully launched on 27th September 2015 along with 6 foreign satellites from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota. It placed at altitude of 650 km and will be located at ISRO Satellite Centre, Bangalore. With this success, India became the nation having its own space observatory after USA, Japan, Russia and Europe.
