Rajasthan passed two bills on Reservation

  • Rajasthan passed two bills on reservation i.e. Rajasthan Special Backward Classes Reservation Bill, 2015 and Rajasthan Economically Backward Classes Reservation Bill, 2015 in 9th Schedule of the Constitution. Now, the State will provide 68% reservation instead of 49.5%.

Forbes Magazine India Rich List 2015 released


  • According to Forbes Magazine India Rich list 2015, Mukesh Ambani became richest person for 9th consecutive year in India followed by Dilip Shanghvi of Sun Pharma and Azim Premji of Wipro. Co-founders of Flipkart Sachin Bansal and Binni Bansal made their debut in the list at 86th position.

Marathi film ‘Court’ selected as India’s official entry to Best Foreign Language category

  • Marathi film ‘Court’ selected as India’s official entry to Best Foreign Language category at 88th Academy Awards 2016 (Oscar Awards). The film has also won Best Feature Film Award in 62nd National Film Awards in 2015.
