Nepal adopted newly formed Constitution

  • Nepal adopted newly formed Constitution on 20th September 2015 as unveiled by President Ram Baran Yadav. The Constitution drafted under 2nd Constituent Assembly which was elected in 2013, the Chairman was 2nd CA was Subash Nemwang. It is the full Democratic Constitution of Nepal. Earlier, Nepal enacted its Constitution four times in the years 1959, 1962, 1990 and 1999. Now, the country splits into 7 federal provinces.

BCCI Chairman Jagmohan Dalmiya died

  • Jagmohan Dalmiya, President of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), died on 20th September 2015. He became President of BCCI in the year 2001 and after that in March 2015. He also remained President of International Cricket Council (ICC) during 1997 to 2000 and became 1st Asian and Indian to head ICC.

  • Ladakh Festival began at Leh on 20th September 2015. The festival is for one Week. The festival started in the year 1980 with the aim to promote tourism in region.

  • Jackie Collins (Jacqueline Jill “Jackie” Collins), British-American famous Novelist, died on 19th September 2015. She was awarded with ‘Order of the British Empire’ (OBE) in the year 2013.

  • West Bengal declassified the 64 files related with Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose containing 13000 pages and made accessible to the public on 21st September 2015. These files were kept for 70 years in Kolkata Police Museum.
